December Prayer Update

We have been really encouraged recently by the number of people that have shown an interest and support for The Joy Foundation. Thank you to all of you – for your prayers, financial support and positive words.

We are so blessed to have the responsibility to carry the Good News of Jesus into our local schools. As we are now in the season of Advent, it is a real privilege to help schools to stop and focus on what much of their busy-ness is about. Our Advent Collective Worships are pointing to Jesus and helping children to prepare for Christmas in the right way.

So, please do continue to pray.

·       Give thanks for significant financial support this past month. We had a significant gift from a local church and around £500 was raised from our fundraising quiz, as well as other gifts.

·       Pray for the Advent and Christmas Collective Worships that we are leading. They are a vital pause point for many schools to help remind them of the real meaning of Christmas

·       Pray for the children – that they hear, sense and experience something of the real Jesus over this season.
