Thank you for your support again for local children through the work of The Joy Foundation. Our work is growing as we seek to help children to flourish. Here are some points to pray about, please:
· Our new school contact is Sir Francis Hill Primary School – one of the largest primary schools in the county. We have 3 Collective Worships scheduled for before Christmas and are hopeful that this can extend and grow in the new year.
· We have many engagements in school for the rest of this year, including many opportunities to present Jesus during the Advent season
· We are starting to look to the longer term future of TJF by talking with local church leaders and considering how new funding may be found to support another worker
· Therefore, fundraising remains key. Thanks to those that supported Andy and Jonathan on their 23 mile walk around Lincoln, raising over £700. Please pray also for new grant applications that are being made over the next couple of months.
Please also support our annual fundraising quiz. The date for this is Saturday 29th November. 7.30pm at St Columba’s Church, off Brant Road. Teams of up to 8, £5 per person. It will be a Quiz of The Year this time around and please let us know if you would like to bring a team.
