It’s great to know that people are praying for The Joy Foundation as we start another summer term – thank you!

We have a full programme of engagements booked in the 23 schools that we are involved with and great opportunities to be a witness through our words and actions. Here’s what we will be doing in schools this term, so please pray for these different activities:

• Collective Worship – we will lead these at least monthly in all 23 schools and some almost weekly

• Together! – our termly online Collective Worship that is open to all schools at the same time

• Mentoring – Helen will be working in two schools helping individual children to flourish through emotional support sessions

• Weekly Challenge Clubs – Andy will lead these well attended but optional clubs in two schools where the children are presented with the 3 P’s Challenge – physical, practical and personal. Children are actively engaged in exploring life and faith

• Collective Worship Councils – TJF works will work with 4 schools in helping children to develop and be advocates for Christian Collective Worship

THANK YOU to all of you that supported our Cake Sale in March. Over £350 was raised for our ongoing work.

PLEASE continue to pray for our financial needs too. Pray for funding applications that have been submitted and that churches and individuals continue to support. We need to constantly find new income sources, so once again over the summer we are asking if people would be willing to hold a small event or do something that helps raise funds for TJF. E.g. quiz with friends, open garden, barbecue. Anything helps and we are hoping for many different small events to add up to make a big difference. Please do contact me if you have any questions.

Thank you for your support.
